Senior Chartering/Chartering Manager (handy to cape)

Due to sustained commercial growth across the sector, we are actively looking for experienced Senior Chartering Managers and Commercial Directors to fulfill several critical hires on behalf of our diverse client portfolio.

We are mapping talent across all major dry cargo segments. Whether your expertise is specialized or diversified, we have active requirements focusing on:

- Handysize / Supramax / Ultramax

- Panamax / Kamsarmax

- Capesize

- Multi-Purpose Vessels (MPP) & Project Cargo

Core Responsibilities

- Source, negotiate, and fix Voyage, TCT, and Period contracts tailored to the specific business model (tonnage-heavy or cargo-heavy).

- Leverage and expand a global network of cargo interests, shipowners, and international brokerage houses.

- Analyze macroeconomic trends, trade flows, and FFA markets to optimize fleet employment or cargo books.

- Review and finalize Charter Party agreements, securing commercially favorable terms while mitigating risk.

- Partner with operations and post-fixture desks to ensure seamless voyage execution and resolve commercial disputes.
