About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on and technically capable Production Supervisor (Technical Lead) to oversee daily production activities and support the growth of our manufacturing operations.

This is a hands-on environment where the successful candidate will not only supervise the production team, but also be involved directly in machine operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, quality control and general operations.

The ideal candidate is someone who is technically strong, proactive and comfortable taking ownership beyond a traditional supervisory role.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Work hands-on alongside the production team when required.
• Set up, operate and troubleshoot packaging machinery, including bottle counting, hopper feeding, labelling and hot ink coding systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic mechanical troubleshooting to minimise production downtime.
• Identify and resolve machine and production issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor production quality and investigate quality issues, implementing appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure production activities comply with GMP, food safety and quality requirements.
• Train and guide production team members on equipment operation, safety and work procedures.
• Monitor production output, wastage and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
• Support warehouse, inventory and general operational activities when required.
• Assist with merchandising, e-commerce fulfilment and other operational activities as needed.
• Participate in company roadshows and promotional events, which may take place during weekday evenings or weekends. Time off in lieu will be provided.
• Carry out any other duties reasonably assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum O-Level
• Minimum 5 years of experience in food, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, beverage, FMCG or related manufacturing environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with production or packaging machinery.
• Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment independently.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Good knowledge of GMP and food safety requirements.
• HACCP / ISO 22000 knowledge will be an advantage.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on SME environment.
• Proactive, responsible and able to work independently.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willing to support duties outside of production when required.
• Candidates with experience in nutraceutical or food manufacturing will have an advantage.
