Sales Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and technically competent Sales Executive to support the growth of our cooling and data center solutions business. The successful candidate will develop customer relationships, identify opportunities, prepare technical proposals, and support customers throughout the sales cycle. The ideal candidate has a technical background in Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, Building Services, or a related engineering discipline, combined with strong commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.

• Promote data center cooling, HVAC, precision air-conditioning, and related solutions.

• Understand customer technical requirements and recommend suitable solutions.

• Prepare quotations, technical proposals, tender submissions, and sales forecasts.

• Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with clients, consultants, contractors, and end users.

• Coordinate with engineering, project, and service teams to support successful project delivery.

• Monitor project opportunities, market developments, and competitor activity.

• Follow up on enquiries, quotations, and ongoing sales opportunities.

• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular pipeline updates.

• Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and networking activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC, Building Services, or a related discipline.

• Two to five years of experience in sales, technical sales, application engineering, or business development.

• Relevant exposure to HVAC, data centers, cooling systems, building services, M&E contracting, industrial equipment, or critical facilities.

• Ability to understand technical specifications and engineering drawings.

• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Customer-focused, commercially aware, and results-driven.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience is advantageous.

• A valid Class 3 driving licence is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Precision cooling, chillers, CRAC/CRAH systems, or thermal management solutions.

• Data center infrastructure or other mission-critical projects.

• Working with consultants, EPC contractors, M&E contractors, facility operators, or data center operators.

• Tendering, solution selling, and project-based sales.
