Junior Sommelier

We are looking for an enthusiastic and service-driven Junior Sommelier to join our front-of-house team at our fine dining restaurant. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in wines and beverages, is eager to learn, and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to assist in wine service, inventory management, and beverage pairing for our curated tasting menus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager in daily wine and beverage service operations.
• Assist guests with wine selection and provide recommendations based on their preferences and menu choices.
• Present, open, and serve wine and other beverages professionally and according to fine dining standards.
• Maintain and update wine lists and menu pairings as required.
• Assist in stocktaking, wine cellar organization, and proper storage conditions.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of wine regions, vintages, and beverage trends.
• Provide basic beverage training and knowledge sharing with the service team.
• Uphold excellent grooming and communication standards at all times.

Requirements

• WSET Level 2 or equivalent certification.
• 1 years of experience in a wine service or fine dining setting preferred.
• Strong interest in wines, spirits, and beverage culture.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team player with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
• Knowledge of Singapore’s dining scene and guest expectations is a plus.
