Job Summary

The Shiftmanager/ Senior Supervisor supervises the operations of a shift to ensure thatfood safety, product preparation, cleanliness and inventory control standardsare maintained. This may include scheduling and supervising staff. Exceptional guestservice is a major component of this position.

Tasks andresponsibilities:

• Performs all tasks and responsibilities of a Senior Sandwich Artist® as outlined in Senior Sandwich Artist® Position description.
• Trains and supervise newer or less experienced Sandwich Artists® in their tasks and responsibilities. Ensure smooth operation and shift transition.
• Assist in managing the shop operation in the absence of Manager.
• Understands and adheres to all quality standards, formulas and procedures as outlined in the SUBWAY® Operations Manual.
• Maintains a professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the SUBWAY® Operations Manual.
• Plan and perform inventory control standards i.e stock ordering, reduce/control wastage
• Inspects equipment and storage facilities throughout the shift to ensure it is in proper working order
• Assist on preparing roster and supervise staff as needed.
• Use critical thinking on resolving and handling incidents i.e guest feedback/inquiries, product shortage and staff conflict
• Performs light paperwork duties as assigned i.e food cost and sales tracking, timesheet, payroll
• Completes University of SUBWAY® courses as directed.

Required competencies and certifications

• Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Some high school education or equivalent

Benefits and Compensation

• Part Time Service Crew: From $11.89^/hour, 7 hours a day, 5 days per week, with a one-time sign-on bonus of $288* after 12 consecutive months of work
• Full Time Service Crew: $2,000-$2400^/month, 8 hours a day (including 45 minutes break), 6 days per week, with a one-time sign-on bonus of $588* after 12 consecutive months of work
