Automation & Control System Engineer (PLC Programming)

• Working hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm (Mon – Fri)
  

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, program and configure PLC-based automation and industrial control systems.

• Develop and configure HMI/GUI, control system applications and system databases according to project requirements.

• Perform system integration involving PLCs, I/O systems, field instrumentation and industrial communication protocols.

• Prepare control schematics, wiring diagrams, control narratives and technical documentation.

• Conduct FAT, system testing, site commissioning, troubleshooting and project handover.

• Diagnose and resolve control software, hardware, instrumentation and communication issues.

• Coordinate with customers, vendors and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

• Provide technical support and system training to customers when required.
  

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related Engineering discipline, preferably with 2–3 years of relevant industrial automation/control system experience. Diploma holders with 3–5 years of relevant experience may also be considered.

• Hands-on experience in PLC programming, system integration, I/O systems, control instrumentation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting is preferred. Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and exposure to HMI/GUI/SCADA will be advantageous.

• Knowledge of C++ and/or Python is an added advantage. Candidates with strong internship, academic or project experience in PLC programming and automation are also welcome to apply.
