PLANNING ENGINEER

The Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules to ensure timely delivery of project. The role will work closely with Project Manager, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure progress is aligned with the master programme.

Your Role

• Assist the Planning Manager in developing baseline master programme, prepare details work programmes and to establish project milestones
• Maintain and update all schedules, collect actual data (progress, manpower and equipment deployment) and evaluate project delays by effective monitoring of actual progress
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for in-house, owner and consultant submission
• Identify critical path activities and potential delays
• Maintain proper records for all significant events relevant to contractual claims/obligations
• Liaise, consult and coordinate with all Supervisors and Managers to incorporate relevant information that will affect the implementation of the project schedule

The Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 5 years’ working experience in Singapore main contractor environment
• Proficient in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project (Primavera P6 version knowledge will be an advantage)
• Good communication and coordination ability
