Accounting Associate

Allied Outsourcing Services seeks full time Accounting professionals to join in the positions of Associate, Senior Associate, and Accounting Supervisor.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and handle full set of accounts for different clients and ensure timely record of accounting transactions
• Responsible for day-to-day accounting functions, monthly HR/Payroll processing and quarterly GST filing
• Checking, verifying and processing expenses submitted by clients
• Ensure all payments and receipts are properly authorised and recorded in accordance with accounting best practices
• Preparation of accounting schedules, reconciliation of accounts, management & cash flow reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate month end-closing and financial reporting
• Compiling Unaudited Financial Statements in accordance with SFRS
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties such as external auditors, tax agents, local tax and government authorities as and when required
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned and required by the company

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Pursuing/ Qualifications in ACCA, or Accounting, Tax or Business Degree/Diploma
• At least 2 years of relevant experience for Associates and 4 years of relevant experience for Senior Associates in Accounting related environments
• For Senior Associate roles and above, experience supervising staff/team is required

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Knowledge of Singapore compliance laws with ACRA, IRAS and CPF Board
• good knowledge and hands-on experience with cloud based accounting and payroll software such as QuickBooks on-line, XERO and/or JustLogin
• Proficient in MS Office applications

• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Fast learner, hardworking, meticulous, takes initiative, and have interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in an accounting, audit or tax firm is an advantage
