Assistant Sales Manager / Sales Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Manage assigned market segments and drive revenue growth for the hotel.
• Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to maximize business opportunities and revenue.
• Maintain and grow existing accounts while actively identifying and securing new business.
• Conduct sales calls, client visits, presentations, and hotel site inspections, with timely follow-up on all enquiries.
• Prepare sales proposals, contracts, marketing correspondence, and monthly sales reports.
• Monitor account performance and support annual contract negotiations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, and other key stakeholders.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth coordination and a positive guest experience.
• Attend sales meetings and represent the Sales Department at industry events and networking opportunities when required.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by Management.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and coordinate appropriate service recovery where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with the hotel’s policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant sales experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong sales, negotiation, presentation, and account-management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain a strong professional network.
• Proactive, independent, self-motivated and results oriented.
• Mature, dynamic, and meticulous, with a positive working attitude.
• A strong team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
