Photographer and Videographer Assistant

The Photographer & Videographer Assistant supports the photography and videography team in planning, preparing, capturing, and organizing high-quality visual content for marketing, social media, events, products, and other company projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the photographer/videographer during photo and video shoots.
- Prepare, set up, and pack photography and videography equipment.
- Assist with cameras, lenses, lighting, tripods, microphones, and other production equipment.
- Help arrange locations, props, backgrounds, and shooting areas.
- Assist with lighting, framing, camera positioning, and basic sound recording.
- Support on-location and studio shoots, including events and promotional activities.
- Manage and organize photo and video files after each shoot.
- Perform basic photo and video editing, color correction, cropping, and formatting when required.
- Maintain an organized digital archive and ensure files are properly backed up.
- Ensure all equipment is handled carefully, stored properly, and kept in good working condition.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, models, vendors, or other parties involved in productions.
- Assist with creative concepts, shot lists, mood boards, and production planning.
- Help ensure projects are completed according to agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Perform other photography, videography, and creative production duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma, certificate, or relevant experience in Photography, Videography, Media, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of photography and videography equipment.
- Familiarity with photo and video editing software such as Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of lighting, composition, framing, and basic video production.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including weekends or outside normal office hours when required for shoots.
- A portfolio or examples of previous photography/videography work would be an advantage.
- Valid driving licence and ability to travel to shooting locations would be an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Basic camera operation and manual camera settings.
- Basic video shooting and audio recording skills.
- Knowledge of social media content formats and trends.
- Experience creating short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or similar platforms.
- Basic graphic design or motion graphics skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced production environments.

- Timely preparation and completion of shoots.
