RELIGIOUS WORKER

We are seeking a dedicated and committed Religious Worker to support the daily operations,

community outreach, and spiritual activities of our religious organisation. The ideal candidate

will assist in conducting religious services, supporting community programmes, and ensuring

smooth administration of temple/church/mosque activities in accordance with organisational

and cultural practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Religious Services & Ritual Support

 Assist in performing daily prayers, rituals, ceremonies, and special religious events.

 Support main priests/pastors/imams/gurus with preparations and arrangements.

 Maintain cleanliness and readiness of worship areas, altars, and ceremonial items.

2. Community Engagement & Support

 Assist worshippers with religious guidance, basic counselling and answering general

queries.

 Support community outreach programmes, charity initiatives, and educational

activities.

 Coordinate volunteer activities and manage attendance during religious functions.

3. Administrative & Operational Duties

 Oversee scheduling and arrangement of religious events and special observances.

 Maintain records, donation logs, inventory of religious materials and supplies.

 Manage booking requests, visitor enquiries, and assist with communication tasks.

4. Facility & Resource Management

 Ensure proper upkeep of religious premises and equipment.

 Monitor and manage stock of prayer items (e.g., oil, incense, o􀆯erings, books).

 Coordinate with vendors, suppliers or contractors when required.

5. Cultural & Community Representation

 Promote the organisation’s religious values, traditions, and cultural heritage.

 Represent the organisation in community events and interfaith activities when required.
