Full Stack Software Engineer

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable web applications across both frontend and backend systems. You will work with modern technologies, cloud platforms and engineering practices to deliver secure, reliable and maintainable solutions.

• Salary Package: Up to $10,000 (basic) + AWS

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full-stack web applications, covering both frontend and backend components.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend applications and scalable backend services.
• Design, develop and integrate RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Build solutions based on microservices, distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases to support application requirements.
• Integrate applications with internal platforms, external services and third-party systems.
• Write clean, maintainable and testable code supported by automated testing and code reviews.
• Containerise and deploy applications across cloud and production environments.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and production operations.
• Troubleshoot application issues across frontend, backend, APIs, databases and infrastructure.
• Work closely with product, design and engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure solutions meet appropriate security, privacy, performance and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as a Full Stack Developer / Full Stack Software Engineer, with hands-on experience across both frontend and backend development.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented programming, system design and application architecture.
• Experience building and integrating RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Good understanding of microservices, distributed systems and system integrations.
• Experience with SQL databases, data modelling and database design.
• Familiarity with automated testing, Git-based development and code review practices.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications in cloud and containerised environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Vue or Angular
• Backend: Java, Kotlin, Python, Node.js / TypeScript, Go or C#
• Frameworks: Spring Boot, FastAPI, Django and other equivalent frameworks
• API: RESTful APIs, GraphQL
• Database: PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL and NoSQL databases
• Cloud: AWS – EC2, ECS, EKS
• Containers: Docker, Kubernetes
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, OpenTofu, CloudFormation
• CI/CD & Version Control: GitLab CI/CD, Git
• Architecture: Microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architectures
• Data: ETL, data processing, Databricks
