Architectural Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all architectural works for building construction projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Review and coordinate architectural drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submissions and samples.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant authorities to resolve architectural and technical issues.
• Coordinate architectural works with structural, M&E and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor architectural works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project requirements.
• Attend site meetings, technical meetings and coordination meetings where required.
• Review and follow up on architectural submissions, approvals, inspections and technical queries.
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure architectural works are completed according to the project schedule.
• Identify and resolve design and construction issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper documentation and records of architectural works, submissions and approvals are maintained.
• Work closely with the Project Manager and consultants to ensure the successful delivery of the project.

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture, Architectural Studies or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in architectural coordination/management within the building construction industry.
• Strong local Singapore building project experience is required, preferably with experience in HDB, schools, institutional, residential or other large-scale building projects.
• Good knowledge of Singapore building construction practices, authority requirements and relevant codes and regulations.
• Experience in coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, specifications, materials and construction details.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple architectural matters concurrently.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of BIM/Revit would be an advantage.
• Candidates with strong site-based architectural coordination experience will be preferred.
