Responsibilities
You will be working closely with your team to:
- Assist in preparing proposals for internal and external clients
- Assist in performing valuations of businesses, intellectual property, financial instruments, etc, for the purposes of financial reporting, mergers & acquisitions, dispute resolution, restructuring , and litigation support
- Perform market and industry research
- Participate in meetings with internal and external clients together with manager and partner
- Develop financial models and assist in financial modelling or financial model review assignments
- Assist in preparing comprehensive valuation reports, presentation decks and review memos which will meet the requirements of both internal and external clients
- Assist in business development activities
- Assist in other ad-hoc tasks as required
Qualifications and skills
- Recognised Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or other related fields or equivalent professional qualifications
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in valuation in an advisory services firm or mid-tier accounting firm (preferable) for the Senior Associate role
- Demonstrated basic accounting knowledge and understanding of financial statements
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong interest in field of valuation
- Strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to new challenges in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise shifting workloads
