Application Engineer (Automation / PLC / SCADA)

• Salary Range: $3800 to $5200 + AWS+ VB

• Working hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm

Responsibilities

• Design and develop application solutions based on customer requirements.
• Configure and support PLC, SCADA, HMI and industrial control system applications.
• Prepare technical proposals, solution architecture, functional specifications and engineering documentation.
• Provide technical support during project implementation, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and commissioning.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
• Work closely with project engineers, sales teams and customers to deliver reliable automation solutions.
• Prepare user manuals and conduct customer training when required.
• Provide post-project technical support and resolve application-related issues.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in PLC, SCADA, HMI, industrial networking or automation systems will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP, Profibus or BACnet is preferred.
• Able to interpret electrical drawings and control system documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
