Pet Groomer

Highlights:

• 5 days per week (consists of 3 weekdays and both Saturday & Sunday)
• Monday to Friday: 10am to 7pm, Weekends: 10am to 8pm

Role Summary

Responsible to manage the day-to-day business operations of the Pet Grooming Centre. Being part of the grooming team, you are required to look after the pets and maintain cleanliness of the environment.

You need to also understand the importance of having the ability to deliver a Animal Arts Academy customer service and grooming experience that is a cut above the rest. In addition, you are solely responsible for the grooming centre.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day business operations of grooming centre within the retail store.
• Ensure all grooming appointments are properly scheduled.
• Ensure pet grooming equipment are well maintained.
• Perform pet grooming based on the best practices and customers’ needs.
• Ensure workplace safety, hygiene level and cleanliness of the grooming centre
• Ensure safety of pets throughout the grooming process.
• Ensure that all pets are well taken care of and in compliance with AVA guidelines.
• Adhere to all the retail SOP, company’s policies, processes and procedures
• Support in all aspects of sales process.
• Upselling of pet care products.
• Highlight abnormalities of pets to the customers to avoid unnecessary conflicts or misunderstanding.
• Feedback all operations matters to Supervisors.
• Practice professionalism and act in the best interests of the company, in all aspects.
• Maintain excellent customer services and relationship with attentive services to their needs.
• Be approachable and be a good listener in discovering queries and complaints;
• Guide and train the assistant pet groomers to ensure that they are proficient on their work.
• Assess assistant pet groomers’ performance.
• Be responsible for the proper use and safekeeping of all company equipment, grooming tools and assets assigned or entrusted to you.
• Report any damage, defects or loss immediately.
• Any other duties / tasks / projects as assigned.
