Heartland Rehab is looking for a motivated Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. This role is designed for early-career physiotherapists who are keen to build strong clinical foundations under structured supervision while delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

Role Overview

As a Resident Physiotherapist, you will manage a supervised caseload while participating in ongoing mentorship, clinical education, and skills development. The role focuses on building competence in assessment, treatment planning, clinical reasoning, and professional practice within a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and manage musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions under supervision

• Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions tailored to patient needs

• Participate in clinical mentoring, case discussions, and in-service education

• Assist in managing patient progression, rehabilitation outcomes, and discharge planning

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with clinic standards

• Collaborate with senior physiotherapists and allied health professionals

• Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Physiotherapy

• At least 3 years experience in hospital or private practice setting

• Strong interest in musculoskeletal and outpatient rehabilitation

• Good communication skills, professionalism, and a growth mindset

• Willingness to receive feedback and participate actively in mentorship
