We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Clinical Manpower Development & Medical Affairs (CMDMA) team. The role provides a unique opportunity towork at the intersection of healthcare regulation, clinical governance andmedical leadership, with primary responsibility for the Hospital Licensing, Accreditation & Standards portfolio.
You will work closely with clinical leaders, hospital management, regulatory authorities and multidisciplinary stakeholders to ensure the continued compliance andoperational readiness of Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH), Yishun Community Hospital (YCH) and Admiralty Medical Centre (AdMC).
In addition to your core regulatory portfolio, you will gain exposure to broader Medical Affairs functions including clinical governance and medical workforce management.
Key Responsibilities
Hospital Licensing, Accreditation & Standards (Primary Portfolio)
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the institution on matters relating to:
- Healthcare Services Act (HCSA) licensing
- Levels of Medical Capability (LMC)
- Other regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Coordinate and manage licensing activities for KTPH, YCH and AdMC, including:
- Licence applications and renewals
- Regulatory submissions
- MOH inspections and audits
- Follow-up actions arising from inspections
- Support the administration and review of the Table of Surgical Procedures, including new procedure applications and revisions to existing procedure rankings.
- Coordinate the development, review and update of clinical policies and standards to ensure alignment with prevailing legislation, regulations and institutional requirements.
- Partner clinical and corporate departments to drive organisational readiness for regulatory reviews, inspections and accreditation exercises.
General Medical Affairs Support
- Provide quality secretariat support for Clinical Board meetings and key clinical leadership platforms.
- Participate in department-wide projects, hospital initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
- Support Medical Affairs operations, medical leadership engagements and organisational events as required.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Chairman, Medical Board and Clinical Director, Medical Affairs when required.

Requirements
Education, Experience & Competencies
- Degree in any discipline.
- Relevant experience in healthcare administration, Medical Affairs, governance or policy work will be advantageous.
- Experience in HCSA licensing, MOH regulatory matters, hospital accreditation programmes (e.g. JCI/SARU and other healthcare accreditation frameworks) will be highly advantageous.
- Strong planning, organisational and project coordination skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous with strong attention to detail.
- Able to analyse information, exercise sound judgement and manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable engaging stakeholders across all organisational levels.
- Able to work independently while also being an effective team player.
