Regional XRF Application Specialist – Southeast Asia

Location: Singapore

A global analytical instrumentation organization is seeking a Regional XRF Application Specialist to support business growth and customer success across Southeast Asia.

This is a regional customer-facing role combining technical applications expertise, commercial support, and distributor enablement. The position will serve as a key technical specialist for XRF solutions, supporting customers across industries including metals, mining, cement, petrochemicals, and materials analysis.

The role offers strong regional exposure and the opportunity to work closely with commercial, technical, and global business teams within a highly specialized analytical instrumentation environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support regional business growth through technical consultation, solution demonstrations, and customer engagement activities
• Conduct sample analysis, feasibility studies, and application validation using XRF systems
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot analytical methods and customer applications
• Provide advanced application support and technical training to customers and channel partners
• Support and enable regional distributors across Southeast Asia
• Prepare technical reports, application notes, and presentation materials
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to resolve complex customer and application-related issues
• Participate in regional seminars, workshops, and industry events

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of experience in applications, technical support, or customer-facing roles within analytical instrumentation or related industries
• Strong hands-on experience with X-ray analytical systems, particularly WDXRF and/or EDXRF technologies
• Experience with sample preparation techniques such as fusion and pressed pellet preparation
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and data interpretation skills
• Experience supporting regional distributors or channel partners is advantageous
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Customer-focused with strong commercial awareness
• Ability to work independently within a regional environment
