Construction Manager

Job Summary

Support site construction teams to ensure smooth project execution by proactively resolving site issues, managing documentation, supervising labor, and liaising with stakeholders to maintain quality, schedule, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Plan ahead to identify and resolve site problems before impacting cost, schedule, or quality
• Manage correspondence and documentation with clients, client representatives, and contractors to ensure clear communication
• Administer contract changes in coordination with the contracts department to maintain contract compliance
• Review and approve equipment and material requisitions to support site operations
• Supervise and monitor site labor force and subcontractors daily to ensure work progress and compliance
• Liaise effectively with authorities, client representatives, subcontractors, and consultants to facilitate project delivery
• Verify that all plans and work meet specifications and quality standards
• Identify and resolve technical difficulties and problems arising on site promptly

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree holder in Construction, Building, or Mechanical Engineering related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a construction environment
• Positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively as a team player
• Meticulous and responsible work approach
• Ability to multitask and perform under tight schedules
