Air Freight Operations Executive

Our client is a leading logistics and freight forwarding company.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day air freight operations, including shipment execution and monitoring of CargoWise alerts
• Coordinate with airlines and internal teams to monitor booking status and resolve shipment issues or delays
• Prepare and process Air Waybills (AWB/MAWB), LC AWBs and required shipping documentation according to customer and regulatory requirements
• Arrange airline bookings through online booking platforms and ensure compliance with perishable and dangerous goods requirements
• Follow AWB standing instructions and ensure all required supporting documents are properly prepared and submitted
• Liaise with airlines and relevant parties to ensure smooth and timely shipment execution

Requirements

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in air freight, freight forwarding or the logistics industry
• Hands-on experience in preparing and executing Air Waybills (AWB) is required
• Familiarity with CargoWise and airline booking platforms will be an advantage
• Good knowledge of air freight operations and shipping documentation
• Strong attention to detail with good coordination and communication skills
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
