Job Summary

Drive sales growth by developing and executing strategic sales plans, generating leads, delivering tailored presentations, and managing customer relationships to achieve targets in the education and training sector.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet targets and business objectives.
  • Identify target markets, customer segments, and sales opportunities through market research and competitor analysis.
  • Plan and coordinate sales activities including lead generation, cold calling, and client meetings to build pipeline.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to monitor progress and inform management decisions.
  • Generate leads via online research, networking, referrals, and industry events.
  • Qualify leads by assessing customer needs, interests, and budget to prioritize sales efforts.
  • Conduct persuasive sales presentations and demonstrations customized to customer requirements.
  • Address customer objections and questions to build confidence and close sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers by understanding their goals and challenges.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and sales collateral that support sales efforts.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues to ensure satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue from existing accounts.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and customer data in CRM systems for effective pipeline management.
  • Analyze sales performance regularly to identify improvement areas and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to keep sales approaches relevant and competitive.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in any discipline.
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in education or training industries.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Other Information

  • Compensation includes base pay plus commission scheme.
  • Basic up to S$3,300
