9 Months Finance Operations (GL) - Up to $6K #NJN

Responsibilities

· Support the day-to-day financial operations of assigned business processes and legal entities.

· Prepare accurate and timely accounting entries to support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes.

· Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accounting records are accurate, complete, and compliant with Group accounting policies and IFRS.

· Support statutory audits and assist in maintaining compliance with internal controls and SOX/ICFR requirements.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded and reporting deadlines are met.

· Perform other ad hoc duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

· Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or a related discipline; professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CA Singapore, CPA Australia) is an advantage.

· Minimum 2–5 years of experience in financial accounting, operational finance, audit, or general ledger accounting, preferably within a multinational, maritime, or related industry.

· Good understanding of general ledger accounting, month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, and IFRS.

· Knowledge of internal controls, SOX/ICFR requirements, and financial compliance practices is an advantage.

· Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Oracle Fusion, and Microsoft Excel.

· Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and meet reporting deadlines.
