Building Technician

Job Description & Requirements

Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to

1. Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.

2. Complete make-ready process of vacant rooms, apartments as directed by the Chief Engineer.

3. Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations

4. Schedule and complete the "Preventive Maintenance Program".

5. Coordinate special projects with vendors/contractors as directed by the Chief Engineer

6. Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside vendors/contractors.

7. Responsible for 24 hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled.

8. Carry cell phone as required for on-call maintenance.

9. Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned.

10. Responsible for alerting the Chief Engineer of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that

have taken place or that may occur.

12. Assure Workplace safety standards are used which comply with all company & MOM contractors,

and fellow employees.

13. Ensure compliance of all work related activities in a fair, ethical and consistent manner.

14. Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined

Core Skills and Knowledge :

1. Able to communicate clearly in English and write simple English

2. Able to perform general electrical knowledge in wiring, plugs, cables, power circuits and appliances.

3. Plumbing knowledge includes the ability to repair plumbing leaks, breaks, clogged

Lines and drains and maintain septic systems

4. Maths skills include the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide each unit of measurement

5. Able to work on shift duties
