Responsibilities
- Lead client and consultant meetings to coordinate project administration and ensure alignment on deliverables
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to accurately calculate project quantities for structural and architectural elements
- Prepare and formalize various building contracts, piling contracts, nominated subcontracts, and related documentation
- Measure and take off quantities to support precise project costing and quotation preparation
- Manage pre-contract and post-contract administration including costing, claims, variation orders, final accounts, and progress claim evaluations
- Prepare variation orders and interim valuations to reflect project changes and financial adjustments
- Administer subcontracts by managing quotations, tenders, budgets, costing, payments, variation orders, extensions of time, and final accounts
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Building, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pre-contract and post-contract administration within the building construction field
- Strong interpersonal skills with confidence and drive to engage effectively with stakeholders
