Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage day-to-day interactions with clients via email, Bloomberg IB chat and Reuters Eikon.
• Handle client queries regarding trading (order rejections/fills) checking of audit trails and FIX logs.
• Process/book client give-up’s, liaising with operations, brokers and clients where required.
• Foster and strengthen strategic partnerships with brokers, prime brokers and counterparties.
• Execute FX transactions for clients as part of managing their multi-currency accounts.
• UAT and Prod testing of new banks, brokers for trading, some knowledge of FIX beneficial.
• Address client queries and questions in relation to end of day statements/reports and corporate actions, liaising with Operation steam where required.
• Manage issues relating to failing trade settlements, liaising with brokers and internal operations team as required.

Job Requirements:

• 0-2 years of relevant experience in equities trading
• Proficient in the use of Excel
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communicator and builder of relationships(employees, brokers, clients).
• Good understanding of the market mechanics of equities trading in APAC regional markets, UK, and US markets knowledge would be beneficial
• Knowledge of Margin and CFDs (Contracts for difference) would be beneficial
• Experience in order placement of equities orders
• Experience in using electronic trading platforms for order placement (Iress and Bloomberg including EMSX experience would be beneficial).
• Candidates should be comfortable working early shifts and public holidays to cater to overseas markets
