FACILITIES TECHNICAL MANAGER (SFSM CERT)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall facilities management operations to ensure safe, reliable and efficient building performance.
• Serve as the appointed Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM), ensuring compliance with the Fire Safety Act, Fire Code, SCDF and statutory requirements.
• Manage critical M&E, fire protection and building systems to minimise downtime and maintain operational readiness.
• Develop and implement Fire Emergency Plans (FEP), Emergency Response Plans (ERP), fire drills and emergency preparedness programmes.
• Lead technical teams, contractors and service providers to deliver safety, operational and contractual KPIs.
• Oversee budgets, maintenance planning, procurement and cost optimisation.
• Conduct technical and fire safety audits, risk assessments and incident investigations, driving corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services or a related discipline.
• Registered Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM) recognized by SCDF.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in facilities management, technical operations and fire safety, with proven site leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of building M&E, fire protection systems, statutory compliance and facilities management practices.
• Proven experience managing commercial, healthcare, industrial or mixed-use developments
