About the Role

An Accounts Assistant role responsible for supporting day-to-day operations by managing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing activities. The role ensures accurate and timely financial records, resolves payment discrepancies, and supports the Accounts team in maintaining effective financial controls and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Receivable, including collections, customer reconciliations, AR aging, customer's account opening and update customer's information in system.

• Process and record Accounts Payable invoices accurately, and make payment on time.

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

• Support month-end closing through reconciliations, journal entries, and financial schedules.

• Resolve customer payment discrepancies and maintain accurate account balances.

• Maintain accounting records, support audits, and perform other accounts-related duties as assigned.

• Support sales team to generate invoices.

Requirements

• Diploma or Higher NITEC in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.

• Minimum 1–2 years of accounting experience.

• Knowledge of accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.

• Experience with accounting or ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent) is an advantage.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
