Job Summary

Lead daily Cell operations by planning production schedules and job assignments to achieve organizational goals. Drive manufacturing priorities, maintain high standards of 6S and housekeeping, and ensure compliance with HSE regulations. Collaborate across teams to optimize parts process flow and resolve issues promptly while managing workforce development and performance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and establish detailed production work schedules and job assignments to meet organizational goals and optimize operational efficiency.
• Lead daily Cell operations by prioritizing manufacturing tasks to ensure timely and quality output.
• Drive the team to achieve and sustain high standards of 6S and housekeeping, enhancing workplace safety and efficiency.
• Support and actively participate in Barnes Enterprise System (BES) initiatives to improve operational processes.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with other Cells to manage parts process flow and resolve operational problems promptly.
• Ensure accurate and timely updating of the ERP system (Syteline) to maintain data integrity and support decision-making.
• Organize and schedule overtime for Cell associates on critical orders, ensuring compliance with statutory labor limits.
• Source and raise purchase requisitions for consumables and tooling to maintain uninterrupted production.
• Conduct routine meetings including daily morning Cell meetings, weekly Cell toolbox meetings, and weekly management Gemba walks to align team objectives and monitor progress.
• Enforce compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations within the Cell to maintain a safe working environment.
• Escalate any issues impacting product quality immediately to supervisors or managers to ensure swift resolution.
• Develop and implement training plans for Cell associates to build a multi-skilled and autonomous workforce.
• Manage and resolve grievances and disciplinary matters among Cell associates to maintain a positive work environment.
• Oversee attendance and leave scheduling for Cell associates to ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Conduct annual performance reviews for Cell associates to support career development and performance improvement.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned to support operational excellence.
