Accountant (1 Year Contract) (Up to $4.7K) #NKC

Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end financial closing activities.

Review balance sheet account reconciliations and ensure outstanding or unreconciled items are appropriately followed up.

Analyse financial performance and prepare variance analysis for management review.

Lead and support accounting-related projects and process improvement initiatives.

Provide financial and accounting support to various departments and business units.

Prepare tax-related returns, declarations and supporting documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Review and enhance financial processes, internal controls and accounting procedures.

Manage treasury-related activities and liaise with banks on banking and financial matters.

Plan and coordinate quarterly and year-end stocktaking activities.

Coordinate year-end fixed asset verification and reconciliation.

Liaise with internal and external auditors and coordinate responses to audit queries and findings.

Follow up with relevant teams on audit recommendations and monitor implementation of agreed actions.

Support year-end tax filing and related documentation.

Prepare financial information and analysis to support business and management decision-making.

Participate in business projects, initiatives and other finance-related activities as required.
