• Job Title: Glass Products Manufacturing General Foreman (Manufacturing)

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations in a glass-processing factory to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets
• Assign daily tasks and manage manpower allocation to optimize team productivity and resource use
• Supervise all glass production stages including cutting, edging, cleaning, tempering, and packing to maintain consistent product quality
• Monitor product quality continuously and resolve production issues promptly to minimize defects and downtime
• Enforce factory safety regulations and 5S housekeeping standards to maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Provide on-the-job training to production workers to enhance skills and ensure compliance with operational standards
• Track production progress and control material wastage to improve cost efficiency
• Report production status and key metrics regularly to management for informed decision-making
• Troubleshoot workshop problems by coordinating material and equipment arrangements to sustain smooth operations
• Guide and support new staff to accelerate their integration and performance in the production team

Required competencies and certifications

• Proven supervisory or foreman experience in glass-processing or manufacturing factory environments, demonstrating leadership of production teams
• Familiarity with glass-processing manufacturing procedures to effectively oversee production processes
• Ability to work overtime and shift work to meet operational demands
• Good communication skills to coordinate with teams and management effectively
• Physical fitness and hands-on factory management experience to perform supervisory duties in a manufacturing setting
