QA/QC Engineer

It has a 90,000-square-foot pre-fabrication facility equipped with smart production systems to support our projects and ensure operational continuity.

Responsibilities

• To assist the QualityManager to ensure the quality aspects of project operations are managed withthe objective of meeting the requirements of clients, the company andcertifications standards
• Co-ordinate withconstruction team to ensure all inspection and testing requirements arefulfilled and work quality is achieved in order to meet client's requirement asper the contracts
• Ensure quality of works inaccordance with Quality Management Plan including development of methodstatements, Inspection & testing plans and checklists.
• Assess subcontractor/supplier QA arrangements for compliance with contract requirements
• Prepare a monthly analysisand report to Top Management with recommendations for improvement andpreventive measures
• Engage the project team todeliver high quality works through collaboration with Production and SiteManagement team
• Assess, feedback andupgrade every single construction process and procedure to ensure that theinternal quality controls are set and maintained
• Lead and train the QA/QCteam in M&E trades
• Able to assess sound weldjoints & interpret x-ray film for defects.
• Any other duties that assign from time to time

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• Preferably min. 2 years experience as QA/QC Engineer in construction industry.
• Knowledge in M & E works, quality requirement of BCA.
• Proficient in quality control documents, engineering drawings and specifications.
• Team player with right attitude, hardworking and resourceful.

• 5.5-day with alternate Saturday off.
