About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Helpdesk Engineer for 6 month contract period with 3 working shift. Successful candidate will be stationed at customer's premise to provide first-level technical support to their internal users, troubleshoot Microsoft-based environments, and assist with day-to-day IT infrastructure and end-user support.

This is a good opportunity for someone with at least 1 year of IT support experience who is looking to develop their technical skills in a professional IT and cybersecurity environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1st-level IT support for desktop, laptop, software, hardware, printers and IP phones.
• Log, manage and follow up on incidents and service requests, ensuring resolution within SLA.
• Troubleshoot issues remotely and escalate complex cases to L2 support, vendors or the Team Lead when required.
• Set up and deploy desktops, laptops and IT peripherals according to company policies.
• Maintain accurate IT asset records, tagging and updating asset information.
• Assist with software and patch testing and deployment.
• Understand user requirements, provide appropriate solutions and keep users updated on request status.
• Work closely with other IT teams on technical support and projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in IT Helpdesk, Desktop Support or Technical Support.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Familiar with Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and Microsoft Office.
• Basic knowledge of PC hardware, printers and networking equipment.
• Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Able to start immediately.
• Willing to work Monday–Friday shifts and 1 Saturday per month.

Monday to Friday
Shift-1: 0700 – 1630hrs
Shift-2: 0830 – 1800hrs
Shift-3: 1330 – 2300hrs
Saturday
Shift-1: 0700 – 1630hrs

The proposed candidate shall have been certified immunized/ vaccinated against the following: a. Chicken Pox b. Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) (Born before 01 Jan 1975) c. Hepatitis B d. Tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis
