Sales Manager

Position Overview:

As our client (one of the leading companies in submarine cables) is expanding its footprint regionally, we are seeking a results-oriented Sales Manager to support its sales growth across Asia’s.

The role will involve developing new client opportunities, managing existing relationships and working with internal teams on tenders, proposals and commercial negotiations.

Where You Lead:

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the submarine cable, power transmission and marine sectors.
• Develop and implement sales plans to achieve agreed revenue targets.
• Build relationships with telecom operators, power cable operators, utilities, offshore energy companies and marine contractors.
• Maintain and develop existing client accounts to generate repeat and additional business.
• Understand client requirements and coordinate with internal technical and operational teams.
• Support the preparation of tenders, quotations, presentations and project proposals.
• Participate in client meetings and commercial negotiations.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline and activity reports.

What We Require:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Sales and Marketing or a related discipline.
• 5 - 7 years of sales or business development experience.
• Experience selling technical, engineering, marine or industrial services is preferred.
• Exposure to submarine cables, power transmission, telecommunications or offshore energy would be advantageous.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
• Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel regionally and internationally when required.
