Regional Sales & Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and business development strategies to drive new business within the marine industry.
• Identify and develop new clients, markets and commercial opportunities across the region.
• Manage the sales pipeline and establish a systematic approach to sales activities, forecasting and conversion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, brokers and other key industry stakeholders.
• Develop existing accounts through cross-selling, up-selling and increasing customer lifetime value.
• Understand customers' business needs, industry trends and competitive landscape.
• Gather customer feedback and work closely with Product, Marketing, Account Management and Development teams to improve products and services.
• Monitor sales performance and implement initiatives to achieve revenue and business objectives.
• Represent the company professionally in client meetings, industry events and business negotiations.
• Lead, mentor and develop team members as the business expands.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Demonstrated ability to acquire new clients and grow existing accounts.
• Previous people-management or team-leadership experience is preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and able to perform under pressure.
• Hands-on, proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with a strong can-do attitude.
