Control System Engineer (PLC / Industrial Automation)

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and implement automation and control system projects from planning through commissioning and handover.

• Develop and modify software programs for industrial control systems.

• Perform system integration involving PLCs, I/O systems, control instrumentation and industrial communication protocols.

• Conduct system testing, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Diagnose and resolve control software, hardware, instrumentation and communication issues.

• Provide system operation and technical training to customers.

• Coordinate with customers, vendors and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

• Prepare technical documentation, test reports and project records.

• Work across different environments, including process plants, marine vessels and construction sites.

• Ensure projects are completed according to schedule, technical specifications and quality requirements.
  

  
  

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related Engineering discipline.

• Preferably 2–3 years of relevant experience in industrial automation or control systems.

• Diploma holders with 3–5 years of relevant experience may also be considered.

• Proficient in PLC programming, with knowledge of C++ and Python.

• Good understanding of industrial control systems, I/O systems, control instrumentation and industrial communication protocols.

• Hands-on experience in system integration, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.

• Experience with laboratory control systems is advantageous.
