ABOUT THE ROLE
The HR Intern will support the Human Resources Department across a range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, HR systems, HR projects, and HRBP administrative support. This role provides hands-on exposure to HR operations in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Talent Acquisition – Workday (HRIS)
- Manage and update Workday functions and candidate data
- Create and maintain candidate prospects
- Funnel candidates into appropriate requisitions
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance within the HRIS
2. Talent Acquisition – Screening & Interviews
- Conduct resume screening and shortlist suitable candidates
- Perform phone screenings and coordinate interviews
- Liaise with recruitment agencies and external partners
- Maintain and update the candidate tracker
3. Leads Management
- Manage company email leads and enquiries
- Ensure proper email etiquette and consistent use of templates
- Support Workday system integration and data accuracy
- Assist in managing certifications, evaluations, and documentation
4. HRBP Administrative Support
- Assist in generating HR reports (headcount, leave, attendance, trackers)
- Update employee files and maintain HR documentation
- Support onboarding and offboarding administration
- Handle general administrative tasks as required by HRBPs
5. HR Projects & Ad-Hoc Tasks
- Participate in HR initiatives, events, and career fairs
- Support in staff engagement activities.
- Document HR processes, SOPs, and workflows
- Provide creative input for employer branding and internal engagement
- Support the HR team with other operational needs
- Any other adhoc related duties that may be assigned during the course of work
REQUIREMENTS
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related fields
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Detail-oriented with good organisational skills
- Comfortable speaking with candidates and stakeholders
- Able to commit a minimum of 3 months for the internship
