Assistant Machine Engineer / Technician

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for an Assistant Machine Engineer / Technician:

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on process machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Carry out periodical maintenance for process machinery according to schedule.
• Respond promptly to machine breakdowns and assist with breakdown restoration to restore machine functionality and minimize production downtime.
• Support machinery setup activities to ensure readiness and timely commencement of mass production.
• Carry out corrective maintenance tasks in accordance with planned schedules and procedures.
• Initiate, plan, and implement quality improvement and preventive measures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Propose, plan and implement quality preventive and improvement activities.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals and performance targets.
• Explore and develop knowledge of machinery maintenance and create new ideas to improve machine reliability and maintain a safe and conducive working environment.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum qualification with NITEC in the relevant course/field, relevant fields include Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant maintenance experience is preferred.
• Training is provided.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint is an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Positive and resilient attitude in dynamic and challenging work environments.
• Proactive and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Willing and able to work on a rotating shift schedule, including morning and night shifts.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to SGD 2,400 + AWS + VB (1 – 3 Months)
• Working Location: Yishun
• Working Hours: Rotating Shift, including morning and night shifts
