Assistant Vice President, Global Strategic Advisory Department

We are now seeking an experienced professional to join the team.

Your key roles &responsibilities include:

· Ensure liaison between Relationship Managers(RMs) in APAC offices and GSAD Japan HQ/APAC representatives.

· Research/analyzing business related information for APAC (principally Southeast Asia and East Asia) and provide business knowledge/ implication/ intelligence for clients and/or internal Mizuho offices and other divisions in APAC region.

· Provide non-fee based support and fee-based advisory projects regarding market entry/ corporate strategy/ RHQ strategy/sourcing alliance partners/ M&A origination activities based on client’s needs, under the supervision of Section Head.

· Proactively develop/act business alliances between JP-NJP/ NJP-NJP companies.

What you should have:

· A Bachelor’s Degree

· At least eight years of relevant experience in M&A& supporting overseas business development at consulting companies, etc.

· Strong interpersonal and business writing skills are attributes that will help the candidate perform successfully in this role

· Business-level proficiency in both the English and Japanese languages is advantageous as you are required to deal with Japanese clients and Head Office

· Strong understanding and affiliation to the Japanese financial industry with a relevant network.

· Highly Proficient in creating materials utilizing power point.

· Have an Inquisitive mind-set and not settle for status quo.
