Security Officer (Night Shift)

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

We are one of the largest one-stop Underground Utilities Infrastructure companies based in Singapore. We provide Underground Utilities Infrastructure construction and maintenance, sewer pipeline rehabilitation, road and airfield construction and maintenance as well as asphalt pre-mix production and construction waste recycling.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a Security Officer to support site safety and security through patrol duties, CCTV monitoring, access control, and incident response. The role also involves reporting irregularities, maintaining proper records, and ensuring compliance with security procedures to safeguard company premises and assets.

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to maintain order and ensure a visible security presence
• Monitor CCTV surveillance systems to detect and respond to any suspicious or unlawful activities
• Respond promptly to alarms and investigate incidents to ensure safety and security
• Control access points and secure the premises, ensuring only authorised entry to the site
• Report irregularities, security breaches, and potential risks to prevent loss or damage to company property
• Prepare and submit clear, accurate incident and activity reports
• Enforce company security policies and procedures to ensure compliance
• Respond to emergencies and support incident management as required
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or Head of Department (HOD)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum N Level, O Level, or equivalent
• Valid Security (PLRD) Licence (Required)
• Able to work night shifts from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in security operations, including guardhouse or site-based roles
• Good understanding of safety and security procedures and protocols
• Strong observation skills with attention to detail
• Good communication skills and able to respond calmly and appropriately in emergency situations
