Job Summary

Join Dental Werks as a Dental Surgery Assistant cum Receptionist to support dental professionals and manage administrative tasks, ensuring smooth clinic operations in a full-time role with a 5.5-day work week.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during dental procedures by handing instruments, mixing materials, and managing the clinical environment to ensure efficient treatment delivery
• Sterilize and maintain dental equipment, instruments, and supplies to uphold infection control standards
• Greet patients warmly and manage appointment scheduling to optimize clinic workflow
• Handle patient inquiries and perform administrative tasks to support daily operations
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records to ensure data integrity and privacy
• Support the dental team with various duties as needed to contribute to overall clinic effectiveness

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Previous experience as a Dental Surgery Assistant or in a similar healthcare support role to perform clinical and administrative tasks effectively
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact clearly and empathetically with patients and team members
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to communicate accurately with patients and staff
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of sterilization and infection control for patient safety
• Genuine interest in the dental industry and motivation to contribute to patient wellbeing
