OutSystems Developer (ODC)

Job Summary:

Develop and maintain OutSystems ODC applications, integrating business systems and delivering innovative digital solutions to enhance operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain business applications using the OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC) platform.
• Develop responsive web applications and user interfaces using OutSystems Reactive Web architecture and UI components.
• Integrate applications with external systems through REST/SOAP APIs, databases, and third-party services.
• Develop and optimise SQL queries while ensuring application performance, security, and scalability.
• Perform application testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and provide post-implementation support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and deliver effective technology solutions.
• Drive continuous improvements through process automation and digital solutions using technologies such as OutSystems, Python, Google App Scripts, and Google AppSheet.
• Work independently or collaboratively within an Agile development environment to deliver high-quality applications.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience developing applications using OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC).
• Experience in OutSystems Reactive Web Development is essential.
• Good understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, relational databases, and SQL.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other programming languages such as Python will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, and Scrum methodologies is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate with stakeholders.
• OutSystems Associate Reactive Developer Certification is preferred.
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is advantageous.
