Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions.
• Identify technical roadblocks and implement strategies to maintain project timelines.
• Produce documentation for technical designs, operational procedures, and knowledge transfer.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data architecture.
• Design and implement data pipelines for various smart factory use cases.
• Establish data quality validation and monitoring mechanisms.
• Optimize data pipelines and storage structures for enhanced performance.
• Guide junior engineers while establishing best practices in pipeline development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL/ELT development, and data platform implementations.
• Expertise in designing production-grade data pipelines using diverse architectures.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data automation and transformation.
• Experience with technologies like Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Industrial IoT integrations.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective stakeholder communication abilities.
