Vice President (Animation Production & Investment)

Key Responsibilities:
1. Animation Content Execution - Plan and execute original and licensed animation content projects (in-house productions, short-form animation, IP-derived projects), from project initiation through full production management. Liaise on internal content standards, review processes and release schedules to ensure timely, quality delivery aligned with platform requirements.
2. Production & Supply Chain Management - Oversee project scheduling, cost control and quality review for animation productions. Manage relationships with domestic and overseas animation studios and outsourced production partners to build a stable external production pipeline. Oversee storyboard, art and post-production quality control, and continuously improve production workflows.
3. Industry Investment & Post-Investment Coordination - Identify and engage with animation studios and original IP creator teams. Conduct preliminary assessment, industry research, basic due diligence and business negotiations to support investment and partnership transactions. Lead ongoing post-investment coordination between invested teams and internal production, managing collaboration and investment risk.
4. Operations & Team Management -Coordinate daily operations across content, licensing and commercialisation functions for project promotion, platform launch and IP licensing arrangements. Establish operational processes and manage team performance, review and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Animation, Media, Film/TV Production or a related field
• Practical experience in animation production management and industry investment/partnership sourcing
• Familiarity with animation production processes, including outsourced collaboration and full content release cycles
• Understanding of investment principles in the animation/cultural content sector, including deal sourcing, due diligence and postinvestment coordination
• Strong project quality control, timeline management, crossfunctional collaboration and execution skills
• Preferred: experience collaborating with major video content platforms or overseas animation studios; experience in cultural/creative sector investment and post-investment management
