Medical Social Worker (ID: 686258)

Our established client in the public healthcare sector is looking to hire a Medical Social Worker.

• 5 days office hours

• Acute setting under public healthcare sector (West region)

• Annual AWS + Performance Bonus (3- 4 months)
  

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychosocial support to patients with special needs and their families through casework, counselling, and therapeutic group interventions.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver holistic and integrated care for patients.

• Actively participate in case discussions, care planning, and family conferences.

• Engage in practice research and quality improvement projects to enhance clinical social work standards.

Requirements:

• A degree in Social Work or a Graduate Diploma in Social Work.

• A post-graduate qualification in Counselling or Family Therapy is advantageous.

• Competence in IT applications and documentation systems.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team.
