INVENTORY EXECUTIVE

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised ERP & Inventory Transaction Control Executive to join our team. You will play an important role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory records by managing ERP transactions, reconciling inventory movements, reviewing supporting documents, and coordinating with Warehouse, Operations and Finance teams.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with ERP systems, inventory data, documentation and reconciliation, and has a strong eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP & Inventory Transactions

· Process and validate inventory-related transactions in the ERP system.

· Create and maintain accurate item master data.

· Review shipment and inventory documents before ERP posting.

· Process Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), stock transfers, returns, adjustments and write-offs.

· Monitor transaction accuracy and investigate discrepancies or errors.

Inventory Control & Reconciliation

· Perform daily inventory reconciliation and investigate stock variances.

· Monitor negative stock, transaction errors and inventory exceptions.

· Support cycle counts and periodic stock audits.

· Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy KPIs.

· Work closely with Warehouse, Operations and Finance teams to resolve inventory issues.

Documentation& Compliance

· Review import, shipping and inventory-related documentation.

· Ensure ERP transactions are properly supported by relevant documents.

· Maintain proper records and audit trails for inventory adjustments.

· Ensure inventory processes comply with established SOPs and internal controls.

Reporting& Analysis

· Prepare daily and periodic inventory and transaction reports.

· Monitor inventory movements, stock ageing and transaction exceptions.

· Support month-end inventory closing activities.

· Prepare reports on inventory accuracy, stock variances and transaction issues.

ProcessImprovement

· Identify gaps in ERP and inventory processes.

· Suggest improvements to improve accuracy and efficiency

· Assist with ERP system updates, testing and improvement

Requirements

· GCE'O' Level or above.

· Certification or training in Supply Chain, Logistics, Inventory Management or ERP systems is an added advantage.

· 2–5years of experience in inventory control, ERP operations, administration, logistics or supply chain support.

· Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Cin7, or similar systems will be an advantage.

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with large volumes of data.

· Strong attention to detail with good analytical and reconciliation skills.

· Able to identify discrepancies, investigate issues and follow through on resolutions.

· Good communication and coordination skills.

· Ableto work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines.
