Electrical Site Engineer

Job Description & Requirements

1. Assist M&E/ Design Consultants in reviewing the design intend and identify system discrepancies or improve system performance if necessary.
2. Carry out value engineering to the system whenever necessary without compromising the system performance and compliance to the local authorities’ requirements / Local Code of Practices.
3. Perform Equipment selection in accordance to the engineering calculation done and approved by M&E Consultants.
4. Perform sizing and selection of the Electrical system material in accordance to the engineering calculation done and approved by M&E Consultants.
5. Liaise with the equipment suppliers and material suppliers to ensure selection of the equipment are relevant and compliance to the technical specification/requirements.
6. Prepare technical submission to M&E Consultants for approval and follow up on the comment (if any) related to the submission.
7. Work closely with the associate team members to see that overall Electrical system design development are meeting the design intend of M&E Consultants.
8. Take charge in the overall planning and execution of Electrical system Testing & Commissioning.
