Demi Chef De Partie (up to $3,200 base + AWS | 5days 9am to 6pm or 12pm to 9pm)

• Shift of either 9am to 6pm or 12pm to 9pm

Responsibilities

• Prepare salads, canapés, light bites and other menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Carry out daily food preparation and mise en place to ensure the kitchen is ready for service
• Plate and present dishes carefully while maintaining consistent quality and presentation
• Receive, check and store ingredients appropriately while monitoring freshness and expiry dates
• Assist with stock monitoring, inventory management and replenishment of ingredients
• Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen and preparation area
• Work closely with the Head Chef and other team members to support smooth daily café operations
• Follow food safety, hygiene and company procedures at all times

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant kitchen or food preparation experience
• Experience from cafés, restaurants or fine dining environments will be considered
• Good food preparation and plating skills, with creativity and attention to presentation
• Comfortable working in a small kitchen team and supporting different preparation duties without a fixed station
• Able to work weekends and public holidays based on roster requirements
