Higher Associate Engineer (Building & Mechanical Products)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting Executive Engineer/Manager to conduct testing and evaluations on Building and Industrial products to ensure compliance to international standards
• Set-up test fixtures for customized test procedures
• Prepare simple standard test reports.
• Collaborate with vendors and other departments on testing requirements.
• Upkeep of the laboratories, equipment and test facilities.
• Familiarity with standards and have the practical knowledge

Key Requirements:

• NITEC / Higher NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering with at least 1-2 years. of relevant working experience. Fresh NITEC / Higher NITEC/Diploma will also be considered.
• Prior testing experience in construction or testing industries will be an added advantage.
• Result and service-oriented individual with good interpersonal skills
• An independent, resourceful and proactive team player.
• Enthusiastic and resourceful with a "can-do" attitude.
• Able to perform under time pressure.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities and practical problem-solving skills.
