Project Engineer (Contract / Structured cabling)

Job Role / Key Responsibilities

• Provide relevant inputs for project reporting, progress tracking, and regular status updates.
• Support the smooth transition of implemented infrastructure from the project implementation phase to the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) phase.
• Lead and oversee the deployment of structured cabling works across government sites, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Work closely with Project Managers to ensure project scope, schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements are consistently met.
• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate and comprehensive patching records and project documentation.
• Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, internal technical training, and post-incident reviews to strengthen team capabilities and enhance operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

• ITE Certificate, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or other relevant disciplines.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in networking, IT infrastructure, structured cabling, or infrastructure project delivery.
• Experience in structured cabling deployment and project coordination, preferably for large-scale or government projects.
